Version 2.3.0 focuses on stability: 100% of user-reported bugs have been fixed. And since we never show up empty-handed, this release also adds highly requested features: custom story thumbnails, a custom field in the add-to-cart form, unit price display, aligned add-to-cart buttons on product cards, and more.
The Accordion block now lets you choose the title font size and its SEO tag (H2/H3), ideal for better FAQ indexing.
The Add to cart block can now switch to pre-order mode: the button text can be customized per product, and when Shopify's "Continue selling when out of stock" option is enabled, your customers can order beyond the available stock.
All theme sections now accept an ID (anchor), making it easy to create links that jump directly to a section of the page.
You can now add a link covering the whole "Background image card" block, even when a button is present inside the card.
Border thickness can now be edited across all theme components: containers, dividers, primary and secondary buttons, badges, tabs, color swatches, and input fields.
The "Collection list" block can now be used inside advanced mega menus.
You can now edit the number of products displayed per page (pagination) in the Collection section.
Color swatches can now be displayed on multiple variant options of the same product (for example one swatch set for the metal and another for the chain style of a jewel). The selected choice is also shown next to the option title so customers can see their selection.
New "Custom field" block in the add-to-cart form: your customers can enter personalization text (embroidery, engraving, a first name…) that is carried with the item through the cart and the order.
The "Delivery estimate" block can now be used inside the "Product form" block.
The Dividers block now offers several line styles: solid, dotted, or dashed.
The "Featured collection" block can now be used inside advanced mega menus, letting you showcase products directly in your navigation.
You can now add a link covering a whole Group block when it's in "Card" mode.
The Klarna payment icon has been added to the list of available icons.
Polish has been added to the theme's default languages.
The Price block can now display product unit prices (per kilo, per liter, per unit…), both on product pages and product cards.
A new option aligns the quick add-to-cart button at the bottom of product cards, useful when images set to "adapt to media" have uneven heights.
You can now add a classic button inside the Product card block.
The product gallery now offers a 1.8 ratio mobile carousel: the next photo slightly peeks on screen, naturally hinting that there are more images to swipe without showing thumbnails, arrows, or dots.
The Bluesky icon has been added to the Social networks block.
You can now set a cover image for each story instead of displaying the video's first frame, which wasn't always flattering.
A new Tabs block option lets tabs wrap automatically onto new lines. It also fixes the mobile display where the first tab could end up off-screen.
A recommendation has been added to the popup theme settings, advising the "bottom" position and explaining why.
The swatch colors in the "Quantity discount" block are now fully customizable: background and text now follow the "Selected variant buttons" setting, not just the border.
The general icon settings have been clarified.
The Image block's corner rounding can now be removed, essential for displaying logos correctly, for example.
The Dividers block margins can now be reduced to zero, enabling visual results that weren't possible before.
The "Featured collection" block can now display a single product at a time, in both grid and slider modes.
The "main-page" template is now available as a usable section in the theme editor.
The theme's setting labels and structure have been reworked to be clearer and more consistent.
The display of input fields with an action button (such as newsletter signup) has been reworked: the button now sits next to the field.
The maximum logo size in the header has been increased, allowing for much larger logos.
A "Quantity discount" block option now lets you display the discount only on one-time purchases or only on subscriptions, aligning the display with your subscription app's actual behavior.
The Subscription block's user guide is now pinned directly in its settings for quicker access.
Fixed a price alignment issue in the "Quantity discount" block when prices didn't fit on a single line.
Fixed an issue when opening stories starting from the second one.
Fixed a price rounding issue in the Subscription block when the discount was a decimal percentage.
Fixed an issue where dragging the "Before/After image" block also moved the slider containing it, making the comparison unusable.
Fixed an issue where the Title block did not align right when used inside a section.
Fixed a display issue in the Article card block when a link was added to the image.
The option to hide a slide on certain devices has been removed as it caused a malfunction.
Fixed an issue where filters applied to a collection were reset when navigating from one page to another.
Fixed an issue where, on mobile with the frame disabled, the review badge kept a residual margin instead of aligning left.
Fixed an issue in the "Collections in tabs" section where product card images were not clickable and quick add to cart did not work.
Fixed several search bar display issues: it could open centered on small screens or close instantly on tap on some Android phones.
Fixed an issue in the "Quantity discount" block where enabling "Show the variant selector per item" on a product without variants prevented adding to cart.
Fixed an issue where the product gallery's carousel settings were hidden when the desktop layout was set to grid, even though the carousel remains active on mobile.
Fixed an issue where a story's thumbnail did not display (a placeholder appeared instead) when the first media was a video.
Fixed the input field label display: the floating label could remain partially visible and look unpolished, especially on the newsletter signup field.
Fixed an issue where the "Delivery estimate" and "Countdown" blocks did not work inside the quick add-to-cart popup, even when correctly configured on the product page.
